Recording Underway! The majority of episode 14 is now recorded, with recording on episode 15 due to begin in the next couple of weeks. As ever, it looks like we may launch a little later than initially thought. It seems rather fitting, though, given it has been the case since the beginning ... Expect the finale episodes in July. We guarantee it'll be worth the wait! |

Finale Scripts Finished!Alan has completed his third drafts of the 3 finale scripts. Together, they form one long story called, fittingly, Laid to Rest. All featuring the biggest cast the show has had, the longest episode the show has produced (the final ep will easily go over the hour mark) and the most terrible odds our heroes have ever had to face. Recording is due to start next week and will continue over the next month or so. Editing will take place over May and the end of the Afterlives journey should be good to go live early summer. It's been 3 years in the making, but the Cloud Crew is finally drawing close to their final rest ... |

In other news, writing has begun on the final episode of Afterlives ever! The finale is easily the most epic thing we've ever done. Old faces (well, voices), huge ideas and everything on the line. Afterlives across the Net!
Afterlives has received some post-Season 2 coverage at a couple of respected internet sites. Radioplay Contests covered us in issue 2 of their Radioplay Magazine. Check it out here.
We've just been featured by the Sonic Society, who have some very, very nice things to say about us. Episode 1 is also being featured on their next podcast, so check it out. Thanks a lot for the coverage, guys! Again, give them a click and check out what they have to offer. They're doing great work supporting audio drama.
Are you involved in a site that wants to cover us? Dorp us an email, we'll be happy to help!
We'd also like to give a shoutout to our friend and fan Julie Hoverson, whose excellent Twilight Zone-esque audio drama 19 Nocturne Boulevard is well worth a listen. Go check it out!
Season 3 work has not begun yet here at Afterlives Towers - there's a stage play ongoing right now that requires Alan's unending attention, as well as two movie treatments that are torturing him and his writing partner. But work is still due to begin late winter on the big finish (no pun intended) ...

Episode 13 is live!
Episode 13 - Happy Ever Afterlife - is now live! Feature length at a whopping 52 minutes, it brings season 2 to a close with more than one bang and not a few tears. The whole run has been building to this moment - can Kyra pull what remains of the Cloud crew together and save Creation once again?
This run has been absolutely fantastic and, as the very end of episode 13 suggests, we are doing one more season later on - probably early 2009. In the meantime, send us your feedback in email or on the Forum. Any questions you might have we will answer in a special After-Afterlives podcast.
Thanks so much for all the emails and wishes we've received since we relaunched. It's been incredible. Even though the season is over, the site remains active for you to use. Remember, there are lots of people out there who have't discovered Afterlives yet. Why not bring them on board before season 3?
Until it's time to go back to the other side, thank you. And enjoy!
- Alan and the Afterlives team.
