Kyra

Far in the future, mankind is genetically perfect. Exercise and diet are unnecessary, disease is unheard of and civilisation is so efficiently run that the population barely have to work for anything.

One of these lucky souls was Kyra, who found herself bored and out-of-place, taking solace in the dress and music of early Twenty-first Century Goth culture. She eventually took her own life to end the neverending torture of chasing and desiring nothing.

She was surprised to discover that even in death she couldn't end it all and must now find a way to deal with her ever-growing guilt ...

Sal

Sal comes from a place far away where beings are a lot shorter, more outspoken and a great deal more green.

A princess, she sacrificed herself under mysterious circumstances and is extremely annoyed to discover that this has not granted her eternal bliss.

Sal has a voracious appetite for men and will take any opportunity to turn up the heat on a situation.

Her upfront personality conceals a closely-guarded pain, however, one which she trusts nobody well enough to share ...

Tor 

Tor comes from a long line of strong,fierce Viking warriors. Unfortunately he has the dubious honour of being the most cowardly specimen the race has ever produced. Aggression, fighting prowess, resilience - Tor lacks them all.

Killed in a fluke incident which saved the life of his Chieftan, he was diverted from his rightful destination of Valhalla to The Box where he meets the other members of the group.

Despite his obvious weaknesses, Tor has a good heart and is a keen observer of the others while watching from the background.

He likes fingernails.

Eve

The girl in Matthew's head talks to him often, offering advice and warning him of important things to come.

Clearly working to an agenda of some sort, she makes it apparent that they share a history. What that history is, though, she won't share with him, just as she will not reveal her name.

She is linked to Matthew's death somehow, but he cannot be sure if she is working for or against him ...
