Alan H McDonald - Dave/Showrunner
The creator and writer of Afterlives, Alan has used the show as a springboard to many further projects. After reaching the final 50 of SFX Magazine’s 'Pulp Idol' competition in 2007, he now has a short film, Speeding, in production and his play, Jimmy Chase and the Red Jacket Affair, was a finalist in the National Drama Associtaion of Wales' One Act Playwrighting Competition 2008 and ran at the Cumbernauld Theatre in June. A reviewer for The Witch Hiker’s Guide , he is currently seeking a publisher for his first novel, young adult adventure Super, and has several film and television projects in ongoing development. He is also co-writing a one-man theatre show with fellow Afterlives contributor Stewart Robertson.

Daniel Cumming - Tor / Barry / Composer
A psychology graduate, Daniel works in homelessness and mental health and is a self-taught sound engineer, guitarist and bassist. As well as performing in the show, Daniel is the producer of Afterlives and the show’s composer for seasons 2 and 3.

Kat Harrison - Sal
Kat Harrison is a freelance theatre director, performer and workshop tutor for all ages. She currently works for Cumbernauld Theatre as Drama Projects Officer and is an Associate Artist with new Polish / Scottish theatre company GAPPAD.

Stewart Robertson - Nathaniel
Stewart Robertson graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2007 with a BA Acting. Since then he has appeared as Angelo in Measure for Measure at the Globe theatre, London, during the Sam Wanamaker Festival 2007 and also as Andy the Rogue Police Officer in series 6 of the BBC’s Still Game. He recently finished filming The Damned United, due for release in 2009. Stewart has greatly enjoyed working on Afterlives and is looking forward to a prosperous 2008.

A teacher by profession, Laura has performed in plays such as Blood Wedding and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A qualified and practising doctor, Natalie has previously performed in plays such as Blood Wedding and Titus Andronicus.

Mark McKinley - Matthew
Currently working as a Redcoat for Butlins in Minehead, Mark has previously performed in productions of Asleep Under the Dark Earth, Blood Wedding and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as writing for Cumbernauld Youth Theatre.

Michael McCue - Composer
A skilled guitarist and vocalist, Michael is the frontman of Silent Transmission, whose song 'After Life' is the theme tune for the show.
